Call Dr. Umar Live · drumarlive.com · Last updated 17 September 2026

This is what the site actually stores today, operated by Dr. Umar Johnson in Wilmington, Delaware. It is not a claim that we have finished a counsel review. The service is offered in the United States.

What we keep

  • Account: email and password (Auth), or Google (email, name, and photo if Google sends them). A username, optional display name, bio, avatar, and optional HBCU school.
  • Membership: status, rail (card / PayPal), and the period end. Stripe or PayPal hold the payment details. We do not store card numbers.
  • Follows, notification preferences, and in-app “he’s live” rows.
  • Chat you send while a Member. Forum comments and optional photos.
  • Sign-in cookies (the session). On the marketing pages only — the logged-out landing, log in, sign up, and these legal pages — we run Google Analytics to see which pages people reach and where they stop. It sets its own first-party cookies on this domain. It is not in the signed-in app: your watch, chat, Forum and Settings activity is never sent to it. We run no advertising pixels, and we leave Google's advertising and cross-site personalization signals switched off.
  • Live viewing: while you watch a live stream, we keep a short-lived session heartbeat so we can show how many people are watching, plus a durable anonymous viewer id (an httpOnly cookie when you are not signed in, or your Account id when you are) so a refresh does not inflate the past-life unique count. Heartbeat rows are deleted after 30 days. Peak and unique totals stay on the stream record.
  • A leftover wallet binding may still exist in a private table from an older sign-in door; it is not collected any more and it is not on the public profile.

Public by design

Usernames, display names, avatars, bios, HBCU school marks, Forum posts and comments, Chat in a live room, channel titles, and that the Host is live are public. Do not put a private email on a public profile field.

Who else sees data

We share what we must to run the site. We do not sell the member list.

  • Supabase: auth, database, and file storage.
  • Vercel: hosts the site.
  • Cloudflare Stream: live video and playback.
  • Stripe: if you pay by card. Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
  • PayPal: if you pay with PayPal. PayPal is an independent controller of the payment data it collects. PayPal’s privacy statement: paypal.com/privacy.
  • Google: if you sign in with Google, we use that to create or open your Account (email, name, photo), and we do not request other Google data. Google Analytics also runs on the marketing pages listed above, where Google acts as our processor. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Resend: signup codes and “he’s live” mail.

Other companies do not collect your activity across other sites through this one, with the single Google Analytics exception described above. Because the Analytics cookies are Google's own, Google may recognise the same browser on other sites that also run Analytics — that is how the product works and we cannot switch it off. What we can do, and have, is leave Google Signals and advertising personalization disabled, so we build no advertising profile from it. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

Mail

If you leave Live notifications on and have an email on the Account, we may send “Dr Umar is Live” from notify@drumarlive.com. Signup confirm codes come from noreply@drumarlive.com. Those addresses do not receive mail. One-click unsubscribe is in the live-notify footer, and Settings → Notifications has the same toggle.

Review, change, or delete

Settings is where you change username, display name, bio, avatar, HBCU school, password (email Accounts), and notification toggles. There is no self-serve Account delete yet. Write Princeofpanafrikanism@gmail.com and we will handle it by hand.

Children

You must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete that Account.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the current version. If a change is material and we have an email on the Account, we may also send mail.
